Skye’s Picks for the Sephora Spring Sale
FACE
Ilia Skin Tint with SPF 40 $48: I’m on my second bottle of this stuff and I’m all about it! It checks all of the boxes for a lightweight base: SPF, dewey finish, easy application… I just love this stuff! My light color was “Ora” and my current color is “Baikal”; I may need something darker as I tan for summer.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation $43: need something with a bit more staying power and coverage?? This is a great option! It stays all day and they have plenty of shades to choose from so it matches YOUR SKIN. Another long-wear, full coverage foundation with bomb reviews is the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder $45: this pressed setting powder will give you the color and coverage similar to a pressed powder. Great for keeping makeup in place and finishing off your face!
OTHER TRIED AND LOVED PRESSED POWDERS: Too Faced Born This Way Pressed Powder $39, MAKE UP FOR EVER Pressed Powder Foundation $39
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer $16-$30: this is a concealer that I’ve always kept on hand because it stays put most days and is easy to fix throughout the day if needed. They offer a mini size in 3 different shades!
Too Faced Peach Perfect Setting Powder $15-$34: I thought this was discontinued but I’m happy to see that it’s still around. I’ve been using the mini size for months and have liked it for setting under my eyes. Grab the mini size if you want to try it without spending $$$!
CHEEK
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Liquid Highlighter $38: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS HIGHLIGHTER! I simply dab it on my temples with the built-in sponge and blend it out with my finger. The color “Spotlight” gives the perfect GLOW.
NARS Blush $30: The color “Orgasm” is the perfect pink-peach and one of my holy grails. There is drugstore option that’s pretty similar here and it’s only $7. The color is “Dolce Pink”.
NARS Illuminating Powder Blush $28: this acts as both a highlighter and blush to give the prettiest, rosey glow!
Becca Bronzer $38: one of my absolute favorite bronzers. The color “Bronzed Bondi” gives a warm amber bronze with a hint of shimmer.
Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush $30: this gives a gorgeous peachy-bronze color for cheeks!
Urban Decay Setting Spray $15-$42: I’ve used this setting spray for a while now and I love how it locks in my makeup. The fact that it has over 10,000 reviews and 4.4/5 stars speaks for itself!
Sephora Detox Brush Cleaner $15: take this as a reminder to CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES!
EYE
stila Liquid Eyeliner $22: THE BEST LIQUID EYELINER!
Marc Jacobs Gel Eyeliner $18: this eyeliner is my favorite pencil-style and stays all day! Lots of colors are available. The color “O(vert)” is a gorgeous olive green that complements brown eyes well!
Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer $24: I have used this for YEARS and it keeps my eyeshadow in place. I never have issues with eyeshadow melting away, creasing or wiping off.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palettes $54: Hellooooooo gorgeous eyes! I love these because every palette has over 10 shades that let you dress up your eyes for any occasion. This Honey one is full of golds, bronzes and browns; this Cherry one is full of pinks, corals and mauves; and this Naked3 one is a great mix of nudes.
Tarte Toasted Eyeshadow Palette $39: this palette has a pretty mix of light browns and deep rusts. It looks so pretty on olive skin tones!
Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette $39: new to eyeshadow?? This is a great starter palette and I love it to this day! It has the prettiest nudes and everything you need to create a day or night look.
Sephora Individual Eyeshadows $8: these are affordable and great eyeshadows that stay put. “Blonde Ambition” is a pretty champagne-gold color and “Sunset at the Beach” is a deeper gold – love them both!
LIP
NARS Velvet Lipstick Pencil $27: “Cruella” is my favorite red and the color I recommend! I tried a pink once and it didn’t stay put quite like my red does.
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment $26: this goes on liquid and dries matte but doesn’t make your lips look disgusting. I love the color “Light My Fire”, which is a fun orangey-red that is perfect for springtime and summer, and “American Woman”, which is a deep brownish-pink.
Tarte H2O Lip Gloss $19: one of my favorite lip glosses! Applies easily and isn’t sticky at all.
Sephora Lipsticks $9: these lipsticks are great quality and an even better price! I love “Brunch Date” as a nude!
SKIN
Peter Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel $39: this is pricey for a cleanser but it lasts for months and I promise you won’t have to re-buy for a while. It has Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid to act as chemical exfoliators and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and uneven skin texture. It’s also amazing at taking off makeup!
Tan Luxe Gradual Lotion $33: this tanning lotion can be used as much as you want and gives a subtle bronze that develops over 1-2 hours. I use it 3 times per week with one of those times being combined with the drops below!
Tan Luxe The Body Drops $59: these tanning drops are completely customizable, are easy to apply and don’t come off on sheets! I personally use them once a week by applying 4 drops with a quarter size of the Gradual Lotion to each body part!
HAIR
Moroccanoil Texture Clay $28: Bryan’s hair styling product!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo $26-$39: this holy grail is ahhhmazing at cleaning my hair and, even better, adding another day or two before having to wash again.
Living Proof Dry Texture Spray $16-$30: if you want hold and texture after styling your hair, this is the stuff you need!
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector $28: need stronger hair repair? TRY THIS!
SCENTS
YSL Libre $30-$170: my favorite classic scent! It’s a warm scent with notes of lavender, orange and musk accord. THIS IS MY FAV TO HAVE ON-HAND!
Valentino Yellow Dream $100-$130: this is a new addition for spring and it’s perfect for the season – lemony and rosey!
Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet $62-$140: perfect for Spring!
SOL Cheirosa ’62 $78: this scent screams SUMMER and has notes of vanilla, salted caramel and pistachio.
Versace Dylan Blue $32-$92: a pretty floral scent that has a woody base. LOVE!
DOLCE&GABBANA The Only One $29-$96: I got this scent as a sample for one of my orders and ended up really liking it. It’s a warmer scent that smells like a lilac bouquet with hints of coffee?! Unique yet oddly comforting.
Chanel N°5 L’EAU $82-$138: this perfume is an update to the classic N°5 and has a floral scent! This is another great classic to have through any season!
