Hi, y’all! Last week our girl turned THREE and we got to celebrate her this weekend with friends and family. This birthday has been extra special because it’s the first birthday that she has been SUPER aware of. SERIOUSLY. She has been talking about her birthday since February! Hi! As you know, Emmett is officially ONE! I still can’t believe that a year has come and gone but here we are. I can’t begin to tell you how many times people told us “time will fly” when they saw us with our little baby and they certainly weren’t wrong. Another year of aging for me seems… insignificant in comparison to the year Emmett just grew through. She went from needing my hands for head support to sitting up to crawling to speaking jibberish and, finally, to walking. Holy guacamole, y’all – our little baby is officially ONE! I can’t believe how fast this year went by… but also how it feels like I had her yesterday. What’s that saying? The hours are long but the days are fast or something like that?! That’s exactly how I feel about this past year! Emmett’s birthday theme was a pink-western-honky-tonk-Shania-Twain-rodeo mix.
