Hi, y’all! I love how life works out. It figures that the week Bryan and I go to church and get reminded that there is so much power in prayer happens to be the same week that Emmett comes down with her first fever. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?! Now, I’ll be the first to admit that my relationship with Jesus has been twisty and full of pauses but this week I’m focusing on praying first and acting second to not only get through the daily battles but to also build that relationship.
One thing that complements a walk with Jesus is a comfortable shoe and I found a brand that makes just that – VIONICย (as seen on Oprah’s Favorite Things andย ย Good Morning America)ย ๐ Saturday and Sunday I got to bust out my new booties by Vionic! I ordered the Madeline style in a size 8 (they’re TTS!) and just love them! The level of comfort they have is the best part. After working in retail, I really appreciate a comfortable shoe because I don’t have time to change out Band-Aids on my heels all day or limp to my car by the end of it. Vionic shoes would be perfect for any of my retail, teacher or nurse friends!
These booties also have the perfect heel height where I’m comfortable juggling Emmett, her diaper bag, my purse and whatever else I have in my hands without worrying about tripping over my heels, which has 100% happened before. My booties are in the color “wheat suede” and the gorgeous material, brown heel and leather tassels make them perfect for any of my fall outfits.
You can check out my booties here! Have a great day!

I shot Saturday’s photos with my Olympus camera and was so bummed when I uploaded them into Lightroom because I noticed that they were super pixelated and not clear at all. I’m not sure if the camera was on the wrong setting, if they were blurry because it was low battery or what! Regardless, I still wanted to share my outfit and how I styled the Vionic booties!
Sunday’s pictures were taken at Katy Heritage Park and with my iPhone on portrait mode since my camera was out-of-commission. I’m blown away at how well they came out! Also, this little area was the prettiest! You’ll definitely see more photos around here ๐
Thank you to Vionic for partnering with La Spicy Gringa!
