Hi! Welcome to our home decked with farmhouse Christmas decor! I’ve actually been sitting on this post for weeks and I can’t believe it. Ay, ay, aaaay! It’s officially December though so let’s just all act like this was planned 😉
We decorated our house a couple weeks ago and I love it! I changed things up a bit by adding ribbon to the tree instead of tinsel, snow on the mantle and garland above the kitchen cabinets. We eventually moved some of the snow and nativity set because our sweet little Emmett grabs everything she can reach. Needless to say, baby proofing is in full force around here!
When I posted a “Welcome to Our Home” IGTV video, I got a few questions about how I did the ribbon. Y’all, it was so easy and completely noob-proof! All you do is cut the ribbon in 3 foot pieces, tuck them into the tree and secure them by tying a little branch around the end (works for artificial trees). You can tuck them in any pattern, but I liked how the vertical lines looked best.
If you need to see more videos, just do a couple searches on Insta or Youtube! There are tons of videos out there. Share any decor tips or other bloggers that inspire you below in the comments! I hope that you have a fabulous week!
