Hi, y’all! It’s that time again – we officially packed up our hospital bag. I pretty much based this list off what I *actually* used from when I delivered Emmett. Click here to see my first hospital bag packing list! When I was planning my list for this time around, I viewed the stay as a “weekend getaway” and also checked out other blogs with hospital bag packing lists for ideas. At the end of the day I needed the same stuff that I always pack – clothes, shower items, makeup, shoes, wallet, phone and charger. Of course, I also had to pack for Kaiser but it’s really not THAT…

Registry for Baby #2
Hi, y’all! I’m here to share a complete breakdown of our registry for baby #2! Kaiser Wayne is due in just under 70 days and it’s officially crunch time for Bryan and I. We’re about 70% done with the kids’ shared nursery – thank the Lord! The biggest project for their room has been the dresser that I decided to refurbish. I can confidently say that I never want to refurbish another piece of furniture lol. We got it for only $100 but cleaning and painting the thing has been so much work – I’ll do a complete blog post on how I did that soon! Outside of the nursery…

Weekend at South Padre Island + Packing List
Hi, y’all! Last weekend we took Emmett to South Padre Island to celebrate the 4th and she loved the beach. Watching her play and have the best time makes my forehead sunburn worth it π Here is how COVID-19 affected our stay, where we stayed, what the beach was like with a toddler and a packing list of what we actually used. HOW COVID-19 AFFECTED OUR STAY COVID-19 actually didn’t affect us too much. It’s mandated in Texas to wear a mask when you go into public businesses so we masked up at our stops during the 6-hour drive. That’s not a problem at all – I just wish I’d…

Pregnancy Closet 101
Hello! I’m officially 23 weeks and getting close to the end of my second trimester. I’ve been enjoying dressing my bump and I’m here to share how I built my pregnancy closet. GROWING A BUMP WHILE BALANCING A HEALTHY BODY IMAGE Before I start telling you my experience let me go ahead and put it out there: EVERY PREGNANCY IS UNIQUE, BUMPS GROW AT THEIR OWN PACE AND WHAT WORKS FOR ME MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU. I love these pieces but also understand that everyone has different wardrobe requirements (i.e. you won’t really find maternity workwear pieces in my closet since I don’t work in a traditional office) and…
